Fishing Solentiname

Fishing Solentiname...

Welcome to the exciting world of fishing in Solentiname Archipelago! We are thrilled to offer you an unforgettable fishing experience for Rainbowbass and other fish species in the serene freshwater jungle scenery of Nicaragua Lake.

Our professional guides will provide you with top-of-the-line equipment, including rods and lures, ensuring that you have a comfortable and successful fishing trip. Whether you prefer conventional spinning or bait casting, or even fly fishing, we have you covered.

At our lodge, you can enjoy a morning fishing trip or choose to stay overnight at one of the nearby hotels. We use light tackles to catch Rainbow bass, which can be found all year round along with Mojara, Machaca, and some Snook.

Our usual catch for Rainbow bass ranges between 4 to 8lb, but we have also caught bigger fish, such as Lagunero around 10 lb and even a 12lb one! We use various fishing techniques, including casting to shore in shallow water, retrieving to the boat, and even fishing with popper in the early morning.

Other places where to fish for Rainbow bass:

We understand that each guest has unique preferences and interests, which is why we offer trolling as another efficient technique to catch bigger fish on request. We are constantly exploring new spots to fish within the vast Nicaragua Lake, and we have heard of some excellent places in the wildlife reserve of Los Guatousso, which are only an hour away from our new Guest House.

Apart from Solentiname, there are a few other places where Rainbow bass can be caught, but we can assure you that Solentiname remains the best place for Lagunero aficionados. We want to make sure that you have an enjoyable and memorable experience with us, so please do not hesitate to contact us for any questions or special requests. We look forward to welcoming you to our fishing paradise in Solentiname.
